Skills
From my skill assessment I enjoy many hard skill based activities, skills such as computer literacy, research and technical skills, these are great skills to have when working in IT, but other skills like project management, leadership and decision making are some of my weaknesses, I’m not really good at taking initiative or managing a project, even the things I do enjoy like self management, planning and organising are some skills I have trouble working through. I hope to improve decision making and project management throughout my studies at Deakin college, and work on other things like planning and organising and leadership with myself and my friends.
One plus side to liking things I can improve on is that I have the motivation to work on these skills. Plan to be more outgoing and try to answer questions at class and work with other people when we get put together in zoom calls, hoping to improve my verbal communication and negotiating
Interests
From the Interest Audit Summary you can see that my interests fit well with my skill assessment, my interests are well rounded with realistic and enterprising not being my biggest interests. My investigative and conventional interests are good for problem solving and developing in IT, while my Social interests help when it comes to working in a group with others. I am confident that the Interest Audit Summary is correct and reflects my Skills Assessment, and once I have finished my studies I hope to have improved on my skills, mainly skills that I may dislike.
